Our vehicles

We offer an extensive fleet of vehicles that have been carefully selected for their reputation and status. Sometimes, you may need a car to do certain tasks – tasks that require you to use a tow bar. Whether you regularly use trailers to clear out things in your garden, or whether you use your car to transport your caravan for a weekend away, our option of adding tow bars to your car rental allows you to live the lifestyle you want, without any impracticality.

Some cars come with satnav as standard. However, if your chosen vehicle does not have satnav, you have the option of renting a satnav from us during your rental period - making getting from A to B, easy peasy.

For the safety of your children, we have a range of child seats available. If you want to hire a car with a child seat, please speak with our reservations team upon enquiry to discuss your requirements.

Roof bars

If you need more space than the interior of your rental car can provide, we have roof bars available. Roof bars are perfect for you if you want to transport your bike, tents and camping equipment, or if you have a lot of luggage.

Frequently asked questions

For drivers aged 25-69, you must have:

  • Held a full UK licence a minimum of 12 months or an overseas licence a minimum of 24 months
  • A maximum of 6 points from minor convictions only within the last 5 years
  • Been involved in no more than 2 accidents within the last 3 years or one accident with costs exceeding £5000

Drivers aged 23-24 are eligible to hire some vehicles, subject to an additional £400 excess, as long as they meet all the above criteria and have held a full licence a minimum of 24 months

Drivers aged 70-75 are eligible to hire cars only.

You can hire a vehicle for a minimum of one day. We can’t refund unused periods if you return the vehicle early, so we always suggest that you begin with the minimum time you think you’ll need because you can always extend.

We do not offer delivery & collection services for personal daily rental except for our airport meet & greet service, available at Leeds Bradford Airport, Edinburgh Airport, Birmingham Airport and Heathrow Airport.

If you are collecting your vehicle from a branch, payment is made upon collection.

The rental cost and deposit must be paid via a credit card in the driver’s name.

We accept payment via Visa, Mastercard or American Express.

Upon returning your vehicle to a branch, we will check that there are no additional items to charge for and then refund the deposit back to you straight away.

If you owe an excess mileage or fuel charge, this will be deducted from your deposit and the remainder refunded while you are present.

If you have used our airport meet & greet service to return the vehicle to an airport, the remaining deposit will be refunded within 1 working day.

If there is any new damage on the vehicle the full deposit is held to allow us to provide an accurate cost, which we will do within 3 working days of the vehicle’s return. Once we have the damage cost the remainder of the deposit is refunded to you.

We are members of the BVRLA and use the BVRLA Fair Wear and Tear Guide in assessing whether damage is acceptable. You can view this guide here.
